A One Ton Driver is responsible for delivering various items to designated destinations, performing routine vehicle safety inspections, and ensuring inventory accuracy for all deliveries and returns. This role supports field personnel with loading and unloading materials and assists with yard organization and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pre-trip vehicle safety inspection in accordance with company policy
- Ensure inventory accuracy for all deliveries and returns
- Secure materials and equipment for delivery
- Report any mechanical issues of vehicles or equipment
- Assist field personnel with loading and unloading deliveries for returns
- Assist in organizing and cleaning the yard to ensure retrieval of materials and overall cleanliness of the yard
- Clean and organize company vehicle weekly or as needed
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner when dealing with field personnel and vendors
- Perform facility maintenance and repairs as directed by the Resource Manager
Requirements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 60lbs, kneel, bend, and twist as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred

- General knowledge of small tools and how they are used
- Ability to converse in English and Spanish
