Occupational Therapist, OT - Pediatrics PRN

About This Role

Provide therapeutic programs to pediatric patients with cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities or delays in their home and community setting. Evaluate patients, plan care, and educate caregivers to improve patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with physical, psycho-social and/or cognitive impairments to determine if occupational therapy can benefit the patient’s quality of life
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in conjunction with the physician and care team to restore or maintain patient well-being
• Thoroughly document care provided and participate in the coordination of care with other care team members
• Provide education and training to patient caregivers and family
• Provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants and Aides, when applicable, in the performance of patient care that is consistent with the patient’s needs

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Certified Occupational Therapist
