Occupancy Field Inspector

About This Role

Mortgage Bankers Field Services is looking for an independent contractor to perform property inspections, providing timely and accurate information on real estate occupancy and condition. This role involves visiting properties, taking photos, and inputting results using a mobile application.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for company in specific zip codes
• Timely communicate with company if inspections cannot be done by due date
• Complete inspections to client expectations
• Stay current with inspection requirements
• Return and redo inspections if incomplete
• Schedule inspections to be completed during daylight hours
• Behave professionally while inspecting properties
• Follow Town/County/State safety requirements
• Maintain a professional appearance

Requirements

• Mobile phone (iPhone or Android) with camera functionality
• EZ Inspections phone App
• Reliable desktop or laptop and printer with high speed internet access
• Reliable & fuel efficient vehicle
• Ability to route inspections effectively
• Able to locate properties
• Clear background check

Qualifications

• No experience or special licensing required, but related experienced is a plus.

• Experience as a Delivery Driver, Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, Taxi Driver
• Experience as a Social Worker, Collections, Home Visits
• Experience as a Process Server, Document Delivery, Skip Tracer
• Experience as an Occupancy Inspector, Insurance Inspector, Insurance Adjuster
