The Alteration & Tailoring Specialist restores garments to their original quality using hand and machine sewing techniques, ensuring timely and meticulous repairs. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a sense of urgency to address diverse garment damages.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently apply diverse hand-sewing techniques for various garment fixes
• Understand deep garment construction principles
• Utilize basic math and computer skills for precise measurements and digital documentation
• Adhere to rigorous safety regulations ensuring a secure working environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members using excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high-quality standards
• Dedicate to maintaining an organized and efficient workspace conducive to productivity
• Consistently meet or exceed productivity standards while delivering exceptional results
• Utilize scanning devices proficiently for inventory management and tracking purposes
• Willingly take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers to contribute to team success

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards
• Maintain acceptable attendance and be able to work overtime as required
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment
• Ability to stand and walk throughout a shift
• Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
• Ability to reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is preferred
