About This Role

This role involves preparing and cooking various food items and bakery goods, ensuring adherence to HAACP policies, and managing cash transactions for Branson Public Schools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods and bakery items
  • Handle, prepare, and cook food according to HAACP Policy
  • Help keep records of daily prepared food items
  • Read recipes and follow directions accurately
  • Cook food and record quantities prepared on the Production Record
  • Record final cooking temperatures on the Production Record
  • Ensure quality standards are met by checking raw and cooked foods
  • Clean and sanitize work stations before and after food prep
  • Set up and stock food lines and monitor food temperatures
  • Serve students and teachers in a friendly and efficient manner

Requirements

  • Excellent math and cash handling skills
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to pass and maintain Basic Food Handling Certification
  • Clearance on satisfactory background check
