As a Nursing Informatics Specialist, you will bridge the gap between frontline nursing practice and advanced health information systems to ensure EHRs and clinical data tools support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care, collaborating with AI research teams.
Responsibilities
- Translate nursing workflows and clinical needs into informatics and EHR system designs in collaboration with IT and technical teams
- Evaluate clinical and system data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve patient care and documentation quality
- Recommend and support enhancements to health information systems that improve care efficiency, usability, and clinical outcomes
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in clinical informatics or health IT
- Hands-on experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and clinical documentation workflows
- Strong ability to analyze clinical and system data and translate insights into system or workflow improvements
Qualifications
- Experience in clinical informatics or health IT
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems
