This Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant role is an essential part of the provider team at Spring Fertility, delivering direct patient care to individuals undergoing treatment cycles. You will partner with physicians to assess and diagnose patients, order and interpret tests, and provide highly personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to all Spring patients
- Perform daily chart audits and MD chart review and preparation
- Perform weekly cycle start/baseline checklist reviews for cycle start readiness
- Conduct FDA screening (history and physical, questionnaire and lab work screening/review), ensure compliance, and provide initial determination sign off
- Perform baseline ultrasounds and follow up monitoring ultrasounds for IUI and IVF
- Manage patient treatment plans for IUI patients
- Perform procedures such as HSG (hysterosalpingograms), saline sonograms, and IUI (intrauterine insemination)
- Review semen analysis and follow up with patients
- Consult for outside/self-referred sperm cryopreservation patients
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
- Evaluate and assess post-retrieval/procedure symptom complaints
- Conduct procedural pre-op assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active California NP or PA License
- Minimum two (2) years of experience
- ACLS Certification
