Nurse Practitioner, Cardiac Care

About This Role

Provide advanced nursing care within cardiac care settings, leveraging expertise in areas like arrhythmia management and post-cardiac surgery care to support patient recovery at a community teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in cardiac care settings
• Manage arrhythmia and chest tube care
• Assist with external pacemakers and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Provide post-cardiac surgery care
• Participate in rehab activities

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
• ADN/ASN degree or higher

Qualifications

• ADN/ASN degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing

Nice to Have

• Experience in Arrhythmia management
• Experience with Chest tube
• Experience with External pacemaker
• Experience with Post cardiac surgery care
• Experience with Rehab
• Experience with Transesophageal echocardiogram
