Night Audit - Part Time

About This Role

This Night Audit position at the Marriott Orlando Downtown Hotel is responsible for completing end-of-day activities, auditing financial transactions, and providing front desk services, ensuring accurate financial reporting and quality guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges and rolling the date
• Audit, balance, post, and report on cash and credit operations for front desk, rooms, and all food and beverage outlets
• Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and miscellaneous charges
• Run the night audit final ensuring revenue is in balance
• Handle unusual and/or emergency situations according to property procedures and notify management
• Coordinate with other departments like Security and Housekeeping to ensure quality service
• Count the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift
• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk in accordance with Marriott Brand standards
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously
• Maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments

Requirements

• Ability to complete end-of-day activities and financial audits
• Proficient in processing various payment types and charges
• Ability to handle unusual and emergency situations
• Experience with Front Desk operations including check-ins and check-outs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to operate Front Desk computer systems
