Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on aerospace components to ensure they meet industry standards and safety regulations. You will interpret test results, document findings, and collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using various methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable standards and specifications
- Document and report findings accurately and comprehensively
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any identified issues
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing
- Proficiency in NDT methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in NDT preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing, preferably in the aerospace industry
Nice to Have
- Technical certification in NDT
- Experience in the aerospace industry
