This role will lead ALS's market position for PFAS technical services and offerings in the USA, acting as a liaison between the market and ALS labs. The National PFAS Technical Lead will strengthen and promote PFAS capabilities in partnership with a national peer group.
Responsibilities
- Use correct methods in accordance with established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality
- Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures
- Work with Technical Leads at each USA PFAS laboratory
- Prioritize the practical determination and homogenization of methods
- Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with ALS quality procedures
- Work with laboratories to complete PFAS site assessments
- Develop and conduct training sessions
- Compile and maintain up-to-date information about federal and state PFAS regulations
- Liaison with regulators, committees, government policy makers
- Engage with key people within the USA PFAS industry
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Chemistry
- Established specialist PFAS experience obtained in testing, consulting, academic or research fields
- Ability to travel locally and nationally as required
