Multi Trade Operative (Carpenter)

About This Role

Join our Repairs Team as a Multi-Trade Operative (Carpenter) to perform a variety of carpentry, plumbing, tiling, decorating, plastering, and masonry repairs in people's homes. You will manage your own workload, aim for first-time fixes, and deliver high-quality service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs across homes
• Fix and maintain UPVc windows & doors, lock changes, forced entries
• Install full kitchens and bathrooms
• Perform plumbing, tiling, decorating, plastering, and masonry tasks
• Diagnose faults and resolve them quickly
• Make homes safe during emergency call-outs
• Manage own workload and maintain van stock
• Deliver reliable, high-quality service to residents

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements
• Strong ability to plan and manage own workload
• Confidence communicating with residents, colleagues and supervisors
• A commitment to high standards, professionalism

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
• Skilled carpenter or multi-trade professional
