MuleSoft Lead - MuleSoft Manager with GCP Experience

About This Role

This role involves leading and mentoring a team of 15+ engineers, managing end-to-end product development lifecycles, and defining user stories for technology implementation projects. The position focuses on leveraging MuleSoft and GCP for API management and cloud deployment within an Agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, define project/program scope, goals and deliverables for technology application development and implementation
• Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with IT teams and technology vendors
• Facilitate development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process between internal teams and external technology providers
• Effectively communicate status updates to all stakeholders across multiple organizations/teams
• Ensure project and program objectives, deliverables and results are completed within agreed scope, timeline, budget and allocated resources
• Provide accurate and insightful analysis and reporting, presenting data in a clear format for presentations and reviews
• Identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to ensure timely completion of projects/programs
• Manage technology product goals and forecasts, collaborating with technical development team(s) to translate long-term objectives into actionable strategy and implementation roadmap
• Guide execution by applying standard frameworks and development lifecycle methodologies like agile and waterfall
• Lead and mentor a team of 15+ engineers across multiple projects
• Create, refine, and assign user stories and epics in Jira; ensure proper backlog prioritization
• Manage release cycles, integration testing, and post-release feedback collection

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in product management or technical program management
• Strong technical background in MuleSoft, GCP, and Cloud Run
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application architecture, APIs, and microservices design
• Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and deliver projects on time
• Experience leading a team of 15+ engineers

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in product management or technical program management

Nice to Have

• Experience working in fast-paced SaaS or enterprise product environments
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
