MRI Technologist

About This Role

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnoses, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed procedure in the administration of Advanced Diagnostic studies or radiography
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology
• Prepare patients for advanced Diagnostic studies or radiographic procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Evaluate Advanced Diagnostic scans for technical quality and appropriate label
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT Certified with strong knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging
• Experience in Diagnostic Radiology
• BLS Certification
• Ability to perform DEXA
• Excellent understanding of Medical Imaging and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Registry in MRI

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• 3-5 years experience in Diagnostic Radiology

Nice to Have

• General knowledge of other imaging modalities
• Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
• Ability to take X-Rays when needed
• Registry in one or more Advanced Diagnostic Modalties
