Perform superior quality MRI procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist for patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves maintaining a safe diagnostic radiological environment while participating in departmental performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform superior/quality MRI procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist to patients of all ages
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines
- Participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities
- Complete MRI procedures accurately and timely (OP, Inpatient, OR, ED)
- Ensure patients and family are properly informed of procedures and patient comfort is maximized
Requirements
- Associate Degree
- 2 years experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days of employment)
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
