About This Role

Perform superior quality MRI procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist for patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves maintaining a safe diagnostic radiological environment while participating in departmental performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform superior/quality MRI procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist to patients of all ages
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines
  • Participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities
  • Complete MRI procedures accurately and timely (OP, Inpatient, OR, ED)
  • Ensure patients and family are properly informed of procedures and patient comfort is maximized

Requirements

  • Associate Degree
  • 2 years experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days of employment)
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
