This role is for a senior Model Based Systems Engineering Modeler to support the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) System. The position requires developing and maintaining high-quality models, leading technical discussions, and mentoring junior team members within a Digital Engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain model quality, identifying Authoritative and Reference data sources to support model requirements.
- Establish appropriate workflows and processes to feed and sustain models with data.
- Support the development of models and the MBSE team with process implementation, task planning, and training junior team members.
- Maintain technical relationships with government customers and partner organizations to develop the full Digital Engineering lifecycle.
- Develop and deliver briefings, and represent the team in workshops and collaboration venues.
- Review technical or procedural products and provide detailed recommendations.
- Actively participate in Agile development, including iteration planning and status.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing UML/SysML models with Dassault Systems CAMEO and Teamwork-Cloud (TWC) or similar modeling platforms (IBM Rhapsody, SPARX EA).
- Solid understanding of MBSE and its differentiation from legacy Systems Engineering methodologies.
- Experience working with Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORs) classic.
- Ability to administer general systems engineering management practices and tools.
- Final SECRET clearance is required.
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience with an advanced degree or 9+ years experience with a bachelor's degree in Model-Based Systems Engineering.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge or ability to administer Agile using Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Ability to create and manage RTMs, RVCMs, and similar products using the CAMEO tool set.
- Good understanding of basic data management concepts.
- Experience working with or leading Digital transformation efforts (DX).
- Experience developing, managing, and sustaining traditional RDBMs.
- Experience or knowledge of NOSQL Dbs and BIG DATA concepts.
