Mobility & Orientation - ESY

About This Role

This role is for an Extended School Year (ESY) Mobility & Orientation specialist within the Capistrano Unified School District, open only to current certificated employees. The position involves teaching subjects or grade levels for which the applicant holds a credential, ensuring students who have struggled in regular classes receive targeted support.

Responsibilities

• Teach the subject or grade level within the past three years and hold appropriate credential for the subject
• Be available to teach the entire summer session
• Utilize ESY prep hours to attend site orientation, prepare instructional materials, and attend ESY training if required

Requirements

• Current CUSD certificated employee
• Appropriate credential for the subject or grade level
• Taught the subject or grade level within the past three years
• Available to teach the entire summer session

Qualifications

• Appropriate credential for the subject or grade level
• Experience consistent with summer school courses approved by the Board of Trustees, using current methods, techniques, or approaches, especially for students who have been unable to succeed in regular classes
