Migration Architect

About This Role

Join Omni's Professional Services team to lead customer migrations from Explo to Omni, encompassing pre-sales, scoping, training, solutioning, automation, and hands-on data modeling. This role involves managing technical projects, advising customers, and shaping product direction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a deep technical expert on Omni internally and externally, solving challenging customer data and architecture problems
• Manage a dynamic portfolio of concurrent customer projects, balancing multiple timelines, workstreams, and deliverables
• Serve as the primary customer-facing technical point of contact and build strong, long-term customer relationships
• Take end-to-end ownership of project management and delivery for your portfolio, including scoping requirements and coordinating work
• Achieve customer outcomes by managing and driving a portfolio of consulting and delivery partners
• Define and document best practices and design patterns for the use of Omni
• Partner with Omni’s Product, Design, and Engineering teams to provide user feedback and guide product direction
• Create delightful experiences for customers, building trust-filled advisory relationships, and making data teams more successful

Requirements

• 3.5+ years in technical consulting / project management, ideally in the data space
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects
• Exceptional communication abilities across technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in data engineering and/or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Mode, Metabase), particularly those with a semantic layer (such as Omni & Looker)

• 3.5+ years in technical consulting / project management, ideally in the data space
