This role involves merchandising, managing, and stocking inventory in Lowe's retail stores, primarily focusing on millwork and other building products. The representative will maintain accurate inventory data, submit orders, and ensure proper product display to enhance sales and build strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Remove and dispose of cull product from inventory according to company policy
- Order product for the replenishment of sold inventory in Lowe's retail stores
- Merchandise and stock building products in defined territory within Lowe's retail stores
- Manage inventory and submit order information via iPhone or handheld device
- Ensure proper merchandising of signage and display to enhance sales
- Build and maintain strong supplier-customer relationships
- Travel daily using a company-provided vehicle to visit all assigned stores
- Pack out products within 36 hours of delivery
- Repetitively lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Perform proficient use of a fax machine, copier, smartphone, and computer
- Submit Market Shops, Price Shops, and Surveys as required by management
Requirements
- Valid and appropriate driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Keen eye for merchandising and detail
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
