The Member Experience Manager (Branch Manager) leads branch teams to ensure exceptional member and employee experiences, drive growth, and represent Hancock Federal Credit Union within the community. This role oversees frontline service functions, ensuring high-quality member outreach and relationship-building efforts. The manager also acts as a key ambassador, fostering long-term relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead business outreach strategy to drive deposit growth and new member relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, employers, and community organizations
- Foster a relationship-based culture aligned with credit union values and member needs
- Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Tellers and Member Service Representatives
- Oversee branch operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to policies
- Track and report on outreach activity, deposit growth, referrals, and relationship development
- Handle account research, corrections, and discrepancy resolution
- Serve as a visible ambassador for the credit union in the community
Requirements
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Experience leading teams in a financial service environment
- Strong relationship building and community engagement skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
