Megasys Bulk Gas Technician

About This Role

As a Megasys Bulk Gas Technician, you will ensure the continuous supply of chemicals and gases essential for semiconductor chip production, managing advanced distribution systems and performing critical maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems
• Handle and change out gas, chemical, and slurry containers
• Perform gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting, preventative and repair maintenance
• Utilize computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
• Support quality systems
• Adhere to site protocols and demonstrate a safety-conscious approach
• Serve as the primary communication point to the customer

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years' experience in semiconductor, chemical, or manufacturing setting

Nice to Have

• Associate Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline
• Understanding of safe work practices and lockout, tag out projects experience
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Technical aptitude to identify parts needed for replacement or repair
• Ability to read flow transmitters, pressure transducers, understand units of measure and use precision measuring equipment
• Understanding of materials of construction and chemical compatibility
• Awareness to identify unsafe work conditions and report them to management
• Excellent teamwork and people skills
