Join the Pulmonary team at Riverway Clinic, a part of HealthPartners, to provide patient-centered care, carry out medical orders, and maintain service excellence as a Medical Assistant, LPN, CMA, RMA, or EMT.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Conduct pre-visit planning and other Care Model Process workflows
- Perform accurate and timely charting to support patient care and service
- Obtain health history information and accurate vital signs, recognizing and reporting variances
- Perform routine office procedures and testing in the ambulatory care setting
- Accurately document observations, actions, and patient outcomes in EMR
- Identify patient education needs, provide instruction, and pend orders appropriately
- Stock and clean examination rooms between patients and at the end of a session
- Sterilize/clean equipment and instruments
- Monitor and request supplies to ensure proper inventory and avoid interruption in service
- Comply with applicable legislation such as OSHA and infection control standards
- Assist in orientation and training of new personnel as assigned
- Participate in quality improvement activities and self-development
- Comply with Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and standing orders
Requirements
- LPN (Current MN License) OR
- CMA Current AAMA Certificate OR
- RMA Current AMT Certificate OR
- Medical Assistant Non Certified-completion of an accredited medical assistant program (Ex: CAAHEP, ABHES) OR
- Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current EMT license
- CPR Certification
