About This Role

This Medical Assistant role provides general clinic support within a team-based integrated care model, focusing on primary and behavioral health care patients. Responsibilities include patient intake, scheduling, referrals, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating internal and external referrals
• Perform patient intake and discharge procedures
• Schedule patient appointments
• Assist with patient phone calls
• Provide lab coverage
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas
• Develop and provide patient education as directed by the patient's provider

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Current Medical Assistant certification
• One or more years of clinical work experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• One or more years of clinical work experience

Nice to Have

• Phlebotomy certification
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records system
