Mechanical Inspector 2

About This Role

As an Inspector 2 at MKS, you will collaborate with other inspectors to ensure products conform to prints and specifications, reporting to the Sr. Quality Manager. This role involves learning mechanical inspection techniques, working with documentation, and performing visual and mechanical inspections in lab and cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Learn mechanical inspection techniques and product requirements for MKS Broomfield products
• Work from written procedures, drawings, sketches, and specifications
• Inspect products mechanically to prints and specifications to ensure conformance
• Determine or assist in determining methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection
• Interact with the PLM system to access documentation
• Interact with the ERP system to perform transactions
• Perform mechanical and visual inspection in both a lab and cleanroom environment

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role
• Aptitude with numbers and basic math and geometry
• Able to absorb and interpret visual information
• Proficient in using a computer
• Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards

Qualifications

• Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role

• Willingness to learn mechanical inspection in a fast-paced environment
