Mechanic

About This Role

Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles or equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation within the Siemens Gamesa organization. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and complete repairs according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals
• Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspensions, transmissions, drivetrains, HVAC systems, and other components
• Accurately document all repairs, parts used, and labor hours in shop management systems
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate clearly with service advisors, team leaders, and customers about repair needs and timelines
• Inspect vehicles/equipment for safety and performance concerns
• Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer procedures

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
• Proficiency with diagnostic software, hand tools, and shop equipment
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and repair instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred or equivalent experience
