The Masker II performs operations to prepare substrates for Parylene coating, including cleaning, surface preparation, masking, demasking, inspection, and packaging. This role requires the ability to successfully mask and demask a high number of different products.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow designated processes, work instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs), and other written/verbal instructions.
- Perform cleaning and preparation of customer product for masking and/or coating process using basic cleaning/preparatory techniques.
- Perform masking/demasking and inspection tasks using specified methods and materials with small hand/power tools, microscope, and support equipment.
- Inspect own work for quality compliance.
- Perform fixturing/defixturing of parts and assemblies.
- Inspect, disassemble, clean, refurbish, and/or reassemble coating fixtures.
- Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements.
- Maintain a high level of punctuality and attendance.
- Operate precision measuring instruments and record results.
- Perform daily tasks in a clean room environment, adhering to protocol, PPE, and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year successful Masker I experience
- Ability to clearly speak, read and write English
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods of time
- High degree of manual dexterity
