Masker II

About This Role

The Masker II performs operations to prepare substrates for Parylene coating, including cleaning, surface preparation, masking, demasking, inspection, and packaging. This role requires the ability to successfully mask and demask a high number of different products.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow designated processes, work instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs), and other written/verbal instructions.
• Perform cleaning and preparation of customer product for masking and/or coating process using basic cleaning/preparatory techniques.
• Perform masking/demasking and inspection tasks using specified methods and materials with small hand/power tools, microscope, and support equipment.
• Inspect own work for quality compliance.
• Perform fixturing/defixturing of parts and assemblies.
• Inspect, disassemble, clean, refurbish, and/or reassemble coating fixtures.
• Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements.
• Maintain a high level of punctuality and attendance.
• Operate precision measuring instruments and record results.
• Perform daily tasks in a clean room environment, adhering to protocol, PPE, and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year successful Masker I experience
• Ability to clearly speak, read and write English
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods of time
• High degree of manual dexterity
