Marketing Data Science Intern

About This Role

This internship provides hands-on experience in applying data science techniques to assess opportunities and mitigate risks for a core diabetes portfolio. The role involves utilizing large datasets and machine learning tools, while also enhancing reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of opportunity assessments and risk mitigation for the core diabetes portfolio
• Apply data science techniques purposefully
• Utilize large data sets and apply machine learning tools (e.g., dataiku) to solve specific business problems
• Work on enhancing reporting frameworks to automate recurring deliverables to senior leadership

Requirements

• Current student enrolled or recently graduated (graduation date no earlier than May 2026) at/from an accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R
• Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
• Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled or recently graduated (no earlier than May 2026) pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree, with a completed or in progress graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline preferred.
