The Marketing and Social Media Intern will gather and share stories, photos, and videos to showcase the impact of Options For All, with a focus on strengthening the professional presence of the Executive Leadership Team on social media. They will create high-quality social media content and spotlight employer and community partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Gather photo and video content in the field, including informal interviews with employees and adults with disabilities (with consent)
- Package content into high-quality social media posts
- Develop consistent, values-aligned branding for individual leaders and OFA on social media
- Ensure content is respectful, accurate, and aligned with OFA’s mission and voice
- Create posts highlighting Leadership Team members and OFA’s engagement with external partners
- Visit OFA programs and community locations to capture content
- Draft social posts for Leadership Team members (LinkedIn-first)
- Help create distinct, consistent “executive brand” themes
- Create posts highlighting Leadership Team engagement with employers and community partners
- Edit and package content into ready-to-post formats
- Maintain a lightweight content library and track content performance
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background check
- Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Film/Media, Public Relations, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio experience)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights)
- Comfort approaching people with warmth and professionalism to gather stories and quotes
- Strong command of photo/video capture skills using a smartphone (composition, lighting, clear audio)
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to create concise, compelling social captions
- Demonstrated ability with editing skills (e.g., Canva or similar tools)
- High judgment with confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
