Manufacturing Welder

About This Role

This role involves welding and fabricating metal components for the HVAC industry, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, and coordinating workflow with team members. Responsibilities

• Weld mainly 18, 16, 14 GA sheet metal in a production environment serving the HVAC industry, including occasional thicker plate steels, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Fabricate new metal components according to product data sheets and applicable safety standards
• Repair metal components to restore full functionality and safety performance
• Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard and keep workstation clean and orderly
• Coordinate workflow with other team members and third-party agents
• Execute welds professionally, examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces to ensure conformity with specifications
• Work independently or with a small team to complete large and complex projects, manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems
• Employ physical strength and endurance to complete all welding tasks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience welding thin gauge metals
• Good working knowledge of production welding environment
• Ability to lift 100 lbs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience welding thin gauge metals.
