Ensure parts meet customer requirements by inspecting manufactured parts with tight tolerances, utilizing various measurement tools and microscopes, and documenting inspection results.
Responsibilities
- Utilize measurement tools to validate physical properties and confirm dimensional features are within tolerance
- Read and understand blueprints, including GD&T
- Use microscopes to inspect parts for defects
- Operate Optical Comparator/Coordinate Measuring Machines/Keyence measuring devices
- Identify and quarantine parts for further evaluation
- Document and input data measurement results
- Communicate verbal and written information in a concise and well-understood manner
- Participate in training to improve/develop inspection skills and abilities
Requirements
- Experience inspecting various manufactured parts with tight tolerances
- Prior work with Mechanical Inspection tools (Optical Comparator/Micrometers/Calipers/Height Gauges)
Nice to Have
- History of utilization of equipment such as Keyence, CMM, and Stereo-Microscope
