About This Role

Join our manufacturing team to operate machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards in the production process. This role offers opportunities for learning new skills and contributing to team training.

Responsibilities

• Lead in safety and quality standards
• Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues
• Perform machine set-ups and change-overs for different products
• Process, understand, and plan for orders
• Participate in training team members and improving own skillset to operate multiple machines
• Take direction from management, supervisors, and operators
• Complete varied tasks, including frequently lifting items up to 50 pounds
• Operate lift equipment, stand-up or sit-down, at heights up to 25 feet as needed
• Observe all safety issues, practice safe working habits, and report unsafe situations
• Be trained in lock out/tag out and other safety programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts, including some Saturdays
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using computerized equipment
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse workforce
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, averages)
• Ability to read standard and metric rulers
• Ability to use light tools (wrenches, channel locks, screwdrivers)
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and problem-solve in various situations
• Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office related software

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some prior manufacturing experience is preferred, but not necessary

Nice to Have

• Prior manufacturing experience
• Prior machine operator and/or forklift experience
