This role involves planning and managing new sales orders, scheduling manufacturing processes, and coordinating steel component creation for industrial fan fabrication. The position ensures efficient production operations and maintains quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage new sales orders through the business ERP software management system from design approval to completion
- Execute order-related communications internally and facilitate external communications as needed, including publishing ship dates, drawings, and revision documents
- Schedule work orders and manufacturing processes to support all manufacturing operations
- Create manufacturing documentation for designs and drawings, including producing, reviewing, and correcting detailed assembly, welding, burn documentation, and machining drawings
- Coordinate the creation of steel components for the fabrication of manufacturing industrial fans, including managing steel inventory and the scheduling and programming of equipment
- Provide general support related to processes to various operational staff through document/report production, process task execution, and system maintenance
- Support and communicate with manufacturing personnel for changes and/or errors found during the manufacturing process
- Use ERP and nesting software to support steel production, inventory management, and equipment scheduling for steel production
- Ensure quality standards, safety guidelines, and processes are followed
- Perform all assigned job duties safely
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Significant computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with business ERP software for managing order details
- Ability to think critically, technically evaluate, and make sound decisions
- Strong organizational skills and effective written and oral communication
- Ability to respond to all inquiries from internal and external departments relating to manufacturing issues/questions
- Highly motivated individual willing to learn and take on responsibilities
- Ability to work well with others in a high stress, fast-paced team environment
