Manager On Deck

About This Role

Manage the overall financial and operational performance of an automotive repair shop, ensuring outstanding guest service and profitability while leading and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by maintaining store standards and solid product knowledge
• Handle escalated customer complaints
• Set expectations and communicate regularly with employees on job responsibilities, goals, training, and development
• Hold the management team accountable for job responsibilities, training, and goals through coaching and counseling
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Conduct performance evaluations for all employees
• Analyze and measure business trends to develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet profit targets
• Review invoices and daily reports to identify opportunities for business growth
• Maintain proper controls over the company's physical and financial assets, including timely deposit of funds
• Ensure the cleanliness of the store, both front and back, at all times
• Maintain high housekeeping and merchandising standards for customer comfort
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and request maintenance as necessary
• Ensure timely return of unused purchased parts to vendors for credit

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales experience in an auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry
• Previous experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication
• Business development and strategy implementation knowledge
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in an auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position
