About This Role

Lead the Razorfish Data Instrumentation team, providing strategic and technical services in analytics, tag management, testing, optimization, and data management for clients. Ensure accurate data collection to build robust datasets for insights and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of data platform deployment to support business objectives
  • Ensure accurate data collection to build robust data sets for insights and analysis
  • Function as a subject matter expert on Analytics, Tag Management, Testing and Optimization, and Customer Data Platforms
  • Consult with key stakeholders and drive client success based on KPIs and business drivers
  • Interact with clients on projects requiring tag management, analytics strategy, and platform remediation
  • Recommend best practices and consult clients on web analytics and site/app optimization platform strategy
  • Translate Business Requirements into Solution Design Documents for implementation support
  • Stay current with the latest developments in Data Platforms and techniques
  • Lead customer, vendor, market analyst, and client interviews from a data standpoint
  • Develop and present solutions and recommendations to internal and external project teams

Requirements

  • JavaScript, CSS, and HTML skills
  • Strong understanding of multiple analytics, testing/optimization, and data management/customer data platforms
  • Strong understanding and history of implementing tag management systems and integrations
  • Solid understanding of advertising, marketing, and strategic brand management
  • Experience presenting in front of groups, to clients, and via web conference
  • Strong attention to detail and QA abilities for web and native apps

Qualifications

  • A minimum five (5) years of experience with data platform tools and methods for website/app/ad campaign research, site testing and targeting, and/or display ad targeting. A minimum four (4) years of experience using tag management systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with new business teams on requests for proposal/information
  • Experience in creating case studies, point of view documents, or white papers in analytics
  • Experience working with and presenting to clients in a collaborative setting
  • Experience streamlining processes and finding efficiencies for instrumentation team
  • Experience working on testing, targeting, and personalization projects with targeting/optimization tools and CDPs
