Manager, Compliance Quality

About This Role

Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management Systems (QMS) for Viega LLC, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing audit processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain Quality Management Systems in line with ISO and business requirements
• Regulate, control, and improve the quality of overall corporate processes throughout Viega LLC
• Manage the QMS and ISO 9001:2015 system for Viega LLC
• Manage processes and system usage for internal/external audits and corrective actions
• Manage the VIP (Idea Management) process, Viega One Quality processes, CAQ System, Product Compliance core processes, and Calibration programs
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and legal obligations
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company
• Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals
• Supervise and direct the work of Quality Systems Coordinators
• Provide cross-functional support for the development of new products

Requirements

• 10-15 years of related QMS Leadership experience
• Proven experience as a quality manager with leadership responsibility for Calibrations, Continuous Improvement and Auditing programs
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Minitab and SAP
• Strong knowledge of QMS practices
• Strong knowledge of first article, in-process and final inspection
• Understanding and knowledge of gauges and gauging practices
• Complete understanding of ISO Systems
• Strong Calibration Services Program leader ISO 17025
• Strong knowledge and SPC background
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong supervisory skills
• Ability to train and lead others
• Ability to facilitate meetings
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality control
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Proven ability to design and implement quality processes and systems

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
• 10-15 years of related QMS Leadership experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in a progressive manufacturing environment and lean manufacturing a plus
