About This Role

This role involves developing, implementing, and adopting training programs for the commercial group within Caris Life Sciences. The manager will ensure the commercial team achieves company goals and metrics by creating content for new products and features, and continuously training existing sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update content for new products and updated product features for the commercial education team.
  • Act as a liaison between the Commercial Education team and the Marketing team, educating the sales team on new products, features, and messaging.
  • Develop, manage, and deploy core curriculum for new hires and continuous training for the existing sales team.
  • Design and facilitate training classes, including creating agendas and training materials.
  • Assess commercial team performance, identify training needs and competency gaps, and collaborate on improvement plans.
  • Organize, lead, and present virtual and in-person trainings.
  • Travel with commercial team members to understand field challenges and provide coaching feedback.
  • Collaborate with partners across the organization to develop training.
  • Maintain a general understanding of the company’s core products, systems, and processes to develop relevant training.
  • Handle multiple simultaneous projects, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining composure.
  • Create clear, well-written, and grammatically correct communications and training documents.
  • Continuously explore, assess, and present cutting-edge tools and industry trends to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of training programs against predefined goals.

Requirements

  • Training and development experience in a biotech or healthcare related field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare
  • Experience successfully coaching others
  • Proven ability to effectively present to small and large audiences
  • Self-starter requiring little supervision
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Proficient computer skills, including Learning Management System (LMS) course and curriculum creation, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare setting, with training and development experience in biotech or healthcare.

  • Strong knowledge of oncology therapeutics and molecular laboratory science
  • General working knowledge of Internet for business use
  • Demonstrated ability to positively receive and respond to feedback for improvement and development
