About This Role

This Management Analyst 3 position supports the Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility (DBME) by providing expert guidance on public assistance programs, developing and delivering training, and analyzing performance data to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in creating, maintaining, and delivering training for multiple levels of division staff including aftercare, refresher courses, annual recertification, and ongoing education.
  • Direct coaching collaboration and training support across DES divisions, agencies, and community partners.
  • Develop field training materials and resources for continuing education courses.
  • Analyze quality and productivity performance, and support action plans for improvement based on State and Federal audits.
  • Research and analyze timeliness and error trends, including system/technical barriers.
  • Provide collaborative support for problem-solving efforts across the division and with partner agencies.
  • Communicate workforce activity and quality trends through various media, analyze data, and apply project management approaches.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of DBME training systems, adult learning principles, learning management systems, data tracking, reporting principles, and survey instruments.
  • Knowledge of customer service and communication principles and collaboration through applications.
  • Proficient in grammar, punctuation, spelling, proper syntax, and sentence structure.
  • Skills in balancing, prioritizing, organizing multiple tasks, synthesizing feedback, and adjusting plans.
  • Skills in training delivery, including classroom management and using training-related technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal relations and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations, build strong relationships, solve problems, make thoughtful decisions, and manage conflict.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and develop productive customer relations.
  • Ability to take initiative, accomplish goals and objectives efficiently, and maintain high work standards.

Qualifications

  • Associates or higher degree in a field appropriate to the assignment is a selective preference
  • 2+ years of management analysis experience OR 4+ years of experience in a leadership role.

Nice to Have

  • Two (2) years of management analysis experience
  • Four (4) years of experience in a leadership role
  • Associates or higher degree in an appropriate field
