Management Accountant

About This Role

Lead accounting functions and foster fiscal responsibility within a law firm, providing critical financial insights to senior management for informed decision-making and sustainable growth. This role focuses on developing and implementing financial procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform all accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Develop and implement financial procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency
• Perform comprehensive accounting duties
• Provide technical oversight to external accounting professionals, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with department heads to monitor expenses against budget allocations
• Optimize resource utilization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
• At least 3-5 years performing advanced accounting functions
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting requirements
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Nice to Have

• CPA or CMA certification
