About This Role

This role involves assisting regular maintenance workers by performing manual tasks, delivering supplies, assembling equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The position operates under the general supervision of the Director and the direction of maintenance workers, focusing on support for daily operations and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual tasks to assist regular maintenance workers
• Assist with delivery of supplies
• Assemble equipment
• Assist with machinery dismantling
• Operate equipment under direction of maintenance worker
• Follow common safety practices
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
• Assist with orientation, preceptorship, and management of personnel assigned to unit
• Work and relate in a professional, non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors
• Attend yearly mandatory education requirements
