Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components for the agriculture, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and OEM industries. This role involves interpreting blueprints, maintaining tight tolerances, and collaborating with engineers to improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, Mazak, and related equipment)
- Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings
- Maintain tight tolerances and uphold quality standards in every part produced
- Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to ensure smooth production flow
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify specifications
- Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with company 5S and safety standards
- Partner with engineers and supervisors to improve processes and increase efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or metals environment
- Hands-on experience with CNC and/or manual lathes and mills
- Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or metals environment
Nice to Have
- Mazak experience
- Familiarity with ISO or QMS standards
- Technical or vocational training
