Machine Operator I

About This Role

Operate and maintain specialized machinery like Wave Solder, Selective Solder, or Conformal Coating machines to process printed circuit boards (PCBs) in a manufacturing environment, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/hourly maintenance of Wave Solder, Selective Solder, or Conformal Coating machines
• Feed PCBs from the conveyor into the wave solder machine
• Receive PCBs as they exit the wave solder machine
• Inspect, trim leads, check for solder shorts, and cut PCBs
• Sort PCBs for next inspection steps and place into tote bins for testing
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Hand-solder components to boards
• Report regularly to Lead/Supervisor on production activities and progress

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months production work experience
• Ability to stand at work station for up to 10 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months production work experience, preferably from within a manufacturing industry.

Nice to Have

• Electro-mechanical aptitude
• Experience within a manufacturing industry
