About This Role

Lead the evaluation, underwriting, and execution of acquisitions in the wealth management space for a fast-growing acquirer of wealth management firms. Oversee complex deal processes from initial assessment through closing and shape deal strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial and operational diligence process to obtain and summarize key information about prospective acquisitions
  • Prepare financial models outlining historical and projected financial performance, including projected returns and supplemental support
  • Craft proposals for review by the Deal Committee and actively participate in committee discussions
  • Collaborate with critical stakeholders throughout the Bluespring/Kestra organization to ensure completion of agreed-upon diligence procedures
  • Draft term sheets and indications of interest for new opportunities
  • Oversee final diligence processes, working intimately with seller representatives and key management team members
  • Provide a full/final assessment of the opportunity with a recommendation to the Deal Committee
  • Participate in transaction document drafting, negotiations and other key interactions throughout the process
  • Capture critical knowledge from the M&A process and ensure it is documented and communicated to other teams
  • Periodic involvement in strategic initiatives to provide analytical support and perspective for decision-making
  • Management of Bluespring’s M&A pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on opportunities
  • Document and track deal-related information on completed acquisitions
  • Monitor and update information on key competitors, reporting insights to management

Requirements

  • 5-7 years investment banking, consulting or related analytical and financial experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research, modeling, and technical skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
