Lube and Tire Technician

About This Role

This role involves performing essential non-technical automotive services like oil changes, tire services, and alignments. It also includes transporting customers, picking up parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness to support the store operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle
• Pick up parts, supplies, and tires from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle
• Operate company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles ethically following all company and state guidelines
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation
• Perform oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop including service area, tire racks, showroom, and outside the building
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's

Qualifications

• Entry level position, general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred
