The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services within their scope of practice, meeting psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects. This role operates under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services
- Perform technical and manual skills within the scope of practice
- Meet psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care
- Meet communication needs of the patient and family
- Perform duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in an applicable setting preferred.
