The Low-Voltage Systems Sales Engineer will leverage technical expertise to support sales opportunities for communication, access, security, and technology products. This role involves partnering with customers and sales teams to create accurate proposals and ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and the sales team to conduct job site visits and confirm scope accuracy
- Engineer sales opportunities and translate requirements into detailed, accurate proposals
- Develop clear scopes of work aligned with customer needs and project specifications
- Provide expert guidance based on hands-on installation, estimating, or engineering experience
- Communicate solutions confidently and build long-term client relationships
- Support project execution by ensuring engineered work stays on budget and meets quality standards
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of cable infrastructure, security, surveillance, and access control systems
- Hands-on experience in installation or engineering
- Experience in a sales engineering role or related fields
- Must be based in the Evansville, Indiana area or willing to relocate
Qualifications
- Experience in a Sales Engineer role or similar technical/customer-facing position
