Logistic Supply Specialist

About This Role

The Logistic Supply Specialist is a cross-trained supply specialist responsible for managing, controlling, and moving supplies across the organization. This role involves performing multiple logistics and supply chain functions, ensuring accurate receipt to distribution of materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple logistics and supply chain functions
• Manage, control, and move supplies across the organization
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including co-workers, clinical staff, supervisors, and management
• Prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties within scheduled hours
• Accurately manage supplies from receipt to distribution
• Comply with Patient Experience and Performance Behavior Standards
• Adhere to Facility Disaster Plan, Safety, Infection Control, Blood and Tissue Handling, and HazMat policies
• Safely operate material handling equipment
• Adhere to Premier Health and Material Management policies and HIPPA requirements

Requirements

• High School completion / GED
• Proficient in mathematics, reading and writing skills
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems
• Basic knowledge of material handling, warehouse and inventory skills

Qualifications

• High School completion / GED
• No prior job-related work experience, with preferred experience in Material Management, preferably in Healthcare

• Material Management experience, preferably in Healthcare
