Litigation Associate

About This Role

Join a national law firm focusing on labor and employment defense to work as a litigation associate with L&E experience. This role involves defending single plaintiff lawsuits and wage and hour class actions, working directly with clients, and representing them at legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Defend single plaintiff lawsuits
• Defend wage and hour class actions
• Work directly with clients on strategy decisions
• Represent clients at hearings
• Represent clients at mediations
• Represent clients at depositions
• Represent clients at other proceedings

Requirements

• 2-5 years of litigation experience
• Active Georgia State Bar admission
• JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
• 2-5 years of litigation experience, Labor & Employment law background strongly preferred
