About This Role

This role involves fueling various types of aircraft, performing safety checks, servicing aircraft with specialized equipment, and providing customer service at General Aviation airports. Additionally, the Line Service Representative will manage aircraft movement, ensure proper securing, inspect and remove foreign object debris, and assist team members and customers with ground operations.

Responsibilities

  • Fuel various types of aircraft using mobile refueling equipment and accurately record services provided
  • Test fuel deliveries for quality and inspect stored fuel according to FAA guidelines
  • Track fuel orders daily and balance fuel usage at the end of each shift
  • Service aircraft with specialized equipment for nitrogen, aviator breathing oxygen, towing, potable water, lavatory, GPU/APU, and cleaning
  • Ensure serviceability, cleanliness, and safety of aircraft fueling and servicing equipment
  • Meet, direct, and marshal transient aircraft to appropriate ramp areas, ensuring proper securing
  • Inspect movement and non-movement areas, removing foreign object debris (FOD)
  • Work as a team member, assisting and training other team members
  • Assist customers and crew with baggage handling and catering, providing surface transportation information
  • Receive bulk fuel storage shipments, perform density calculations and quality control checks, and complete documentation
  • Assist air traffic control in maintaining movement area security and keep unauthorized personnel away
  • Report suspicious incidents immediately to authorities
  • Assist in the Airport Emergency Plan and remove disabled aircraft using specialized equipment
  • Assist public safety personnel in emergency situations and operate fire support vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and services provided
  • Perform spill containment and clean-up of petroleum products and other liquid hazards
  • Document, photograph, and report all incidents on airport property
  • Use standard office equipment and operate a variety of motor vehicles

Requirements

  • High school graduation
  • One year of full-time aircraft ground servicing and fueling experience
  • Valid Nevada Class C driver's license
  • Valid Food Handler Safety Training Card
  • Ability to remain current in an FAA approved Line Service training program (NATA Safety 1st Professional Line Service Training)
  • Ability to complete all CCDOA training as required

Qualifications

  • High school graduation
  • One year of full-time aircraft ground servicing and fueling experience
