The Lighting Technician is responsible for the safe and neat installation of lighting products in customer facilities, adhering to safety policies and local regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of lighting retrofit strategies and professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
- Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process.
- Understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- 2+ years of lighting and electrical experience
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work any shift, including nights
- Reliability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service skills
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience.
