Life Sciences Program Manager, Business Transformation Consulting

About This Role

Lead strategic and complex business transformation programs within the life sciences industry, specifically global pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. This role involves designing and delivering high-impact programs that align with organizational objectives and drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, complex, and cross-functional business transformation programs in life sciences
• Design and deliver high-impact programs aligning with organizational objectives and driving measurable outcomes
• Engage with senior leaders to ensure alignment and integration of strategies across departments
• Collaborate with BIP US and BIP Global team members on mixed projects of variable size
• Apply skills in Strategic Program Design, Program/Project Management, Governance, Risk/Issue Management, Leadership Alignment, Stakeholder Management, and Performance Measurement
• Utilize life sciences subject matter knowledge in Regulatory Compliance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Clinical Trials, Laboratory Management, Submission, or Quality Systems
• Engage in internal initiatives, communities, Centers of Excellence, and intellectual capital development
• Network, coach, and mentor BIP US colleagues to foster organizational and professional growth
• Seek business development opportunities through client exposure and support proposals/client engagement efforts

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Program/Project Management
• Experience in designing and leading strategic, business transformation initiatives
• Industry experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences
• Proven expertise in Program/Project Governance, Budgeting, Resource Allocation, and Stakeholder Engagement
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs within biotech/pharma
• Strong investigative, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Exposure to aspects of the pharmaceutical/life sciences value chain
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Experience presenting and preparing/facilitating workshops
• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, computer science, business, or a related field
• PMP certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, computer science, business, or a related field. An advanced degree is desirable.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Program/Project Management, particularly in designing and leading strategic, business transformation initiatives.
